Connecticut Pedestrian Accident: 10-Year-Old Hit By Car

The girl suffered a broken leg after she exited a car onto the sidewalk and then walked in front of the car before she was hit.

Pedestrian accidents are becoming all too common in Connecticut. In fact, a recent report released by the Auto Insurance Center reveals some interesting statistics about pedestrian accidents.

In 2014, there were 5,000 pedestrian deaths nationwide. They are usually preventable so it is important that whether you are behind the wheel, or walking on the street that you are aware of your surroundings.
