Nine employees at Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown are facing charges from Connecticut State Police as they are accused of abusing a patient at the hospital. These employees have been placed on administrative leave.

The claimant may have a personal injury case. When a patient is treated in a healthcare facility or hospital, there is a standard of care that all hospital staff must follow in caring for the patient. Healthcare facilities are responsible for the actions of their employees, whether they are surgeons, physicians, nurses, nurse aides, therapists, among others.

If you or your loved one is ever injured by an employee of a healthcare facility, call our office immediately. Our team of experienced attorneys, including Bob Messey, M.D., J.D. and Gayle Sullivan, R.N., J.D., will complete a full medical and legal investigation into your claim.
