Patient safety errors can be considered Connecticut medical malpractice depending on the circumstances.

The study found that physician burnout doubled the odds of involvement in patient safety incidents. Patient safety incidents were linked to all three dimensions of physician burnout—emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment.
