Know Your Prescription And Avoid Drug Injuries

It’s no secret that doctors could use a penmanship lesson. When prescriptions are written it can sometimes be difficult for not only the patient to decipher, but pharmacists as well.

If a doctor writes you or your loved one a prescription and the pharmacist fills this prescription incorrectly, by either dispensing the wrong medication completely or the improper dosage, and this causes permanent injury, the pharmacist may be liable for the injuries.

Here is a list of drugs with names that sound like other drugs that could be potentially damaging if improperly prescribed or dispensed.

If you are taking any medications (including vitamins and supplements), it is imperative that you let your doctor and pharmacist know to prevent any potential injuries.
